🇬🇧 “La Poiana (buzzard)” viewpoint

Situated along the Pescara Hill path, which can be accessed past the springs and the small belvedere, within the Mediterranean scrub on the top of the hill overlooking the water of the springs, the ‘la Poiana’ viewpoint is a resting and observation point.

From here you can admire the picturesque landscape: downstream the clear waters of the Pescara River, to the left the Tremonti Gorges where the Gran Sasso National Park and the Majella National Park meet, to the right the Peligna Valley and the first peaks of the Abruzzo National Park.
